SCENARIO
You are considered an industry expert on innovation. You understand that in today’s highly competitive environment, businesses are under pressure to constantly change and innovate. To stay relevant, organizations are always searching for unique ideas and finding the next best way to create value and gain a loyal following. Unfortunately, without appropriate leadership, building a culture that supports and allows for innovation is challenging, at best.
As a business innovation guru and professional speaker, you have been asked to speak at an upcoming innovation conference. You decide the best way to explain innovation is to share an example of a company that has demonstrated exceptional innovation through its leadership, motivational incentives, empowerment, and culture. You will present at the conference using PowerPoint and will need to include the following information in your presentation. The slides should be professional with minimal text (short bullets). The details must be explained verbally with audio recordings linked to each slide (see link below).
Select an innovative company with a name that begins with the same letter as your last name. For example, company name: Microsoft, last name: Miller. This deliverable will require external research, information synthesis, and citation.

Slide 1: What leadership style do you hypothesize the CEO of this organization to use (must cite 3 sources that speak to how the leader leads- citations should be included on the slide, the reference should be either included in the notes for that slide or on final references slide). You must also cite a definition or explanation of a leadership style and extrapolate based on your research how it aligns with the theory. How does this leadership style help the company innovate (provide an example specific to this company).
Slide 2: What is the culture like at the organization? What do employees say about working there? Is it enjoyable (must cite 3 examples- citations should be included on the slide, the reference should be either included in the notes for that slide or on final references slide). Also, do they empower their employees? How so?
Slide 3: How do they innovate? What is their strategy? How do they involve employees in that process? (Must cite 2 sources preferably less than 5 years old because organizations are constantly changing- citations should be included on the slide, the reference should be either included in the notes for that slide or on final references slide).
